The Junior Sous Chef will work alongside the line chefs to ensure every dish is prepared to our high standards. This is a hands‑on role – perfect for someone who loves being actively involved in the kitchen, cooking on section, leading by example, and working with a passionate team to create memorable culinary experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring correct prep levels by our dedicated prep team.
  • Ensuring deliveries and stock are put away correctly by the Goods Receiver.
  • Temperature records.
  • Junior staff wellbeing.
  • Checking cleaning rotas are completed.
  • Monitoring and training staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and basic culinary techniques.
