We are delighted to be opening The Ivy Asia in Glasgow. At The Ivy Asia, luxury dining meets theatrical energy. From expertly crafted cocktails and vibrant entertainment to bold Asian-inspired flavours and immersive interiors, every detail is designed to create an unforgettable guest experience. We are now looking for a passionate Bar Manager to join us for this exciting opening and play a key role in bringing the experience to life. This is an incredible opportunity to lead from the front, build a strong and energetic team, and establish a bar recognised for exceptional service, atmosphere, and creativity from day one.

Key elements of your role as a Bar Manager

  • Adhere to all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures, ensuring these are always adhered to.
  • Welcoming customers, taking drink orders, making recommendations, and serving exquisite drinks that delight our guests.
  • Support the implementation of revenue-generating initiatives and follow budgeted sales targets.
  • Assist in staff training and liaise with senior management to develop key team members.
  • Guide, coach, and support staff during service to develop teamwork and ensure the standard of service is always exceptional.

About you

  • You have at least 2 years + experience in this role
  • You are skilled in preparing cocktails and spirits to high standards
  • You love to wow guests with exceptional service
  • You have excellent English language skills
  • You are friendly and professional with plenty of charisma and flair
