The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

As a Grill Chef, you will be responsible for cooking a wide variety of steaks as well as chicken, burgers and seasonal meats. Your deep knowledge of different cuts and grilling techniques will be essential in ensuring each dish meets our high standards. You’ll work efficiently to keep orders moving quickly, ensuring all meats are cooked to the precise temperatures requested by the guests, while maintaining the pace of the kitchen during busy service hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Grill Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
  • Knowledge of different steak temperatures and resting times.
  • Knowledge of different meats and their characteristics.
  • Experience in using a variety of grill equipment, including ceramic briquette grills.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and learning.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Set up and stock your assigned section with necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Collaborate closely with prep chefs to monitor inventory and ensure correct daily par levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety.
  • Follow instructions from Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
