Senior Contracts Manager

Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Senior Contracts Manager for a large construction company based in Shrewsbury. The company: Our client operates across 4 divisions: Groundworks, Bulding, Landscaping and Electrical. They have been in business for almost 50 years are they are actively recruiting for a Senior Contracts Manager to join their Groundworks Division. The role entails: Managing numerous ongoing projects from pre-construction stage through to completion Manging both directly employed labour as well as sub-contractors to deliver projects within budget and time allowances Use of Microsoft Project to produce programmes of work and project plans Developing and implementing contract management strategies and processes Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders Reports to Operations Director who is based at Head Office Working closely with Estimators & Quantity Surveyors to assess budgets and time allowances Directly in charge of two Contracts Managers and a team of operatives below (approx. 10nr) What are we looking for? A strong background as a Senior Contracts Manager or a Contracts Manager looking to step up into their next role A minimum of 10 years\’ experience in groundworks is a necessity Strong IT Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) Proactive with the ability to work and manage time effectively Relevant industry qualifications Benefits & Salary: Salary will be based on experience and within the bracket of 60-70K plus a company vehicle How to apply: Submit your CV Call / Text / Whatsapp Conor on (phone number removed) for a confidential conversation.
