Job Description

Plasterer required for an immediate start in Reading, Berkshire.

Requirements

• Ticket: Blue CSCS required
• PPE: Hard hat, high vis, steel toe cap boots
• Experience: Must have 5 years\’ experience working as a Plasterer on construction projects
• References: Must be able to provide 2 recent work references

Job Role

Works involved: Finish tapered‑edge plasterboard to British Gypsum spec: pre-fill gaps up to 3 mm with Gyproc Joint Filler; reinforce flat joints with mesh when gaps ≤3 mm, use paper tape near openings/ long runs and where gaps >3 mm; tape all internal angles with paper; fix angle beads to externals. Dub out hollows / valleys up to ≈8 mm with Thistle BondingCoat / Bonding 60, key and set. Full two‑coat skim with ThistlePro PureFinish (≈2 mm total) to walls / ceilings; leave ready for decoration; protect finishes and keep areas clean.

Pay

£24 per hour.

Working Hours

7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
