Ivy Resource Group are currently working with a reputable residential housebuilder to recruit an Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager to join an active housing development in the Gloucestershire / Worcestershire. This is a site-based role on a live residential scheme of approximately 40 plots, with clear progression opportunities into a Site Manager position.
The Role
As Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the finishing stages of the build, ensuring quality, programme, and health & safety standards are met through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing finishing trades and subcontractors
- Overseeing plot completions to a high standard
- Ensuring works are completed in line with programme and NHBC requirements
- Carrying out quality checks and snagging
- Maintaining health & safety standards on site
- Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven background in residential housing
- Experience managing finishing stages on housing developments
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
Desirable:
- Looking to progress into a Site Manager role
- Strong eye for detail and quality

- Working hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Travel: within approximately one hour of site
