We are currently looking for a teacher to cover a long term post in a mixed EYFS / KS1 class starting in mid-February 2026. This role is working at a local village primary school. Within the class you will have a Teaching Assistant part time. This role comes with full classroom responsibility; all planning will be required. You will also be required to support with parents' evenings, reports and any school trips. The class has a mix of EYFS and KS1 pupils, totaling just over 10 students so you will be working with a small class team. This school has strong values and a very supportive senior leadership team who will be on hand to help with anything you need during your time with the school. You will be provided with weekly PPA time to complete planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Work full time - 5 days per week and take on full classroom responsibility
- Deliver the national curriculum to the EYFS and KS1 class
- Complete all planning for the class
Requirements
- You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
- Creative and passionate class teacher who has a great understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Teachers who are happy to work with the school and leadership team to deliver the school values
- Someone who has high expectations of their pupils and supports them with their development across the EYFS and KS1 year.
