Job Description: We are currently looking for a teacher to cover a maternity post in an EYFS class starting in February 2026. This role is working at a local primary school that is part of a large local multi-academy trust, allowing collaboration between teachers across different schools within the trust. This role comes with full classroom responsibility; all planning will be done alongside the other EYFS teacher. You will also be required to support with parents' evenings, reports, and any school trips. Within the EYFS class, you will have support from a class teaching assistant. This school has strong values and a very supportive senior leadership team who will be on hand to help with anything you need during your time with the school. You will be provided with weekly PPA time to complete planning. This role is open to ECTs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work full time - 5 days per week and take on full classroom responsibility
- Deliver the national curriculum to the EYFS class
- Work collaboratively with the other EYFS class teacher
Requirements:
- You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
- Creative and passionate class teacher with a great understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Teachers who are happy to work with the school and leadership team to deliver the school values
- Someone who has high expectations of their pupils and supports them with their development across the EYFS year.
