Ivy Resource Group are working with a well-established contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role based in Wolverhampton, working across a range of commercial projects including schools, hospitals, MOD bases, colleges, universities, and leisure centres.
The Role
- Commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Preparing, reviewing, and managing project budgets and cost plans
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts administration
- Ensuring projects remain within budget while maintaining quality and programme targets
- Liaising with project teams, clients, and senior management on commercial matters
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on commercial projects
- Strong sector experience in education, healthcare, MOD, or leisure is advantageous
- Experience within Tier 1 or well-established main contractors is desirable
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Stable career history demonstrating long-term commitment
