We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to support a Cheltenham based Secondary School on a temporary full-time basis. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, preparation, and marking.
Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Food Technology.
- Develop lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are used appropriately.
- Organise and participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to food technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods for Food Technology.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
