The Role:

As Area Manager, you will be based in Slough or the surrounding area, managing operations across South UK, including London. You will lead service delivery, build strong client relationships, and help grow the business and team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strengthen existing client relationships
  • Seek out and develop new client opportunities
  • Oversee suppliers, contractors, and the internal maintenance team
  • Lead quoting and invoicing processes
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery
  • Travel across the South UK to manage multiple sites
  • Handle escalated issues with strategic, solution-based thinking
  • Foster a culture of motivation, accountability, and teamwork

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel
  • Confidence using digital systems and company tools
  • Leadership experience with a proactive, hands-on approach

Package Available:

  • Competitive salary of 44,000 - 45,000 per annum
  • Performance-based company bonus scheme
  • Company vehicle and fuel card for business travel
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) plus your birthday off
  • Holiday entitlement increases to 31 days with length of service
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
