Ivy Care are recruiting an Assistant Manager at our Ivy Cottage service in North Featherstone, offering a competitive salary of £30,000 and Monday‑Friday working hours.
About the role:
- You will be a hands‑on, visible and approachable leader
- Supporting the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service
- A key part of this role is leading the Ivy Cottage staff team: motivating, inspiring and coaching them to be the best they can be to offer the best quality support possible to the people we support
- Lead supervisions, develop risk assessments and produce person‑centred plans
- Create and oversee staff rotas to meet the needs of the people we support
- Occasional shifts will be required to stay connected with the people we support and their needs. You will also join the management on‑call rota, so a driving licence and car are essential.
About you:
- You should have strong experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and other complex needs
- Be a positive and confident manager who can lead by example
- Hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ level 5
- Be passionate about making a meaningful difference to the standards of the service and the lives of the people we support
About Ivy Cottage:
Situated on our North Featherstone site are two buildings (Ivy Cottage and Ivy Croft) totalling 14 beds and supporting individuals with a variety of learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs.
