We are looking for a Project Manager for Software Projects Implementation and Business Development to lead one of our project teams, including the accountability for implementation of our products at rail and bus companies. To advise and support our customers in the UK on our solutions; and support the wider team with future business opportunities.

You are responsible for your project team, this includes planning, controlling and reporting about your dedicated projects. You find solutions in our product suite and work closely with our teams in Germany to deliver customer contract requirements. You are accountable for leading the testing, installation and configuration of IVU software products. You build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. You support our sales team in acquisition and contract management. This involves coordinating with internal and external teams to organise and deliver demonstrations of IVU software; including developing external-facing documentation for prospective customers, requirement-gathering and developing pricing documentation. You will contribute to the tender process from RFIs, RFPs, to tender submissions.

Your profile

  • You are excited about the public transportation sector and ideally have experience in a similar field (e.g., with a UK Train Operating Company, transport authority, transport consultancy, or a transport planning and control system provider).
  • A general understanding of delivering software-based projects is equally desirable.
  • You have experience in managing projects and the desire to grow with an organisation.
  • You have a strong customer focus, can-do approach, and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • You want to make a difference to how people travel, how society manages its resources, and in supporting a sustainable environment.

A note on location and travel requirements

This is a remote role, open only to candidates based in the UK with existing right-to-work. While applications from across the UK are welcome, we have a preference for candidates within commuting distance of London and York. The role involves occasional UK travel for client meetings, onsite work, and team collaboration, plus occasional travel to Germany to meet with our parent company. Some overnight stays may be required.

What we offer

  • Open-ended employment contracts
  • Opportunity for quick career growth
  • Personalised development opportunities
  • Competitive salary, bonus and benefits
  • Friendly and informal workplace
