About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible full-time Driver / Cleaning Support Operative to join our team. Our company specialises in cleaning and installing commercial kitchen extract and ventilation systems, working at a range of client sites. The main purpose of the role is to drive the team safely from site to site, support with loading and unloading equipment, help maintain the company van, and assist with cleaning tasks or with a helping hand where required.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the team to and from client sites in a safe, professional and punctual manner.
- Covering areas in Brighton - Maidstone - North London - Greater London - Portsmouth, Guildford. Mainly the Southeast.
- Assist with loading and unloading cleaning equipment and materials.
- Support the team with commercial kitchen extract and ventilation cleaning tasks as needed.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day care, cleanliness and condition of the company van.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any faults, damage or maintenance issues promptly.
- Represent the company professionally when attending client premises.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (clean and over 12 months).
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable travelling to different client sites, day and nights.
- Willing to assist with physical tasks, including loading, unloading and cleaning support.
- A responsible attitude towards vehicle care and safety.
- Previous driving, cleaning, facilities, ventilation or kitchen extract cleaning experience would be helpful, but is not essential.
