We are a well-known manufacturing company based in Soham, Cambridgeshire. Ivor Searle started business in 1946 and has grown from a small agricultural engineering company supplying local businesses to remanufacturing across Europe. We have been one of the UK's leading independent producers of remanufactured automotive products for more than 60 years, producing engines and cylinder heads, as well as gearboxes and turbos. Our mission is to produce products engineered to the highest standards, accompanied by exceptional service with a commitment to our customers and the environment.
Our products and services cater for all makes and models, car and light commercial vehicles from classic to present day vehicles, generally under 4-litre capacity. We provide an off the shelf service for next day and as you would expect, everything we do is focused on our customers and getting their vehicles back on the road as quickly and reliably as possible.
A vacancy has arisen within our busy Logistics Team for a UK & Export Logistics Co-ordinator. Duties will involve the following:
- Liaise with customers & couriers to provide a high level of proactive customer service.
- Arrange transport for collection & delivery of units to & from customers.
- Proactively monitor collections & shipments to minimise delays & resolve issues.
- Proactively monitor & chase outstanding core units.
- Assist with the receiving in & checking of returned units.
- Raising customer credits.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational, communication & customer service skills is essential.
- Experience in export & import procedures would be advantageous.
- Experience of working & dealing with couriers & hauliers would be advantageous.
- Microsoft Office & Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- A professional telephone manner.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 (42.5 hour working week).
