A vacancy has arisen within our busy Logistics Team for a UK & Export Logistics Co-ordinator. Duties will involve the following:
- Liaise with customers & couriers to provide a high level of proactive customer service
- Arrange transport for collection & delivery of units to & from customers
- Proactively monitor collections & shipments to minimise delays & resolve issues
- Proactively monitor & chase outstanding core units
- Assist with the receiving in & checking of returned units
- Raising customer credits
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational, communication & customer service skills is essential
- Experience in export & import procedures would be advantageous
- Experience of working & dealing with couriers & hauliers would be advantageous
- Microsoft Office & Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential
- A high level of attention to detail
- A professional telephone manner
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 08:00 to 17:00 with a 20 minute morning break and a 30 minute lunch break (42.5 hour working week).
