Shifts: 38.25 hours per week. Monday to Sunday on a rota basis, flexible days and nights
Pay Rate: £18.36 – £21.50 per hour

The team includes Advanced Practitioners trained in Manual Handling, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Positive Behavioural Management (PBM) and Fundamentals of Care. We also have Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) and access to a Consultant Psychiatrist, Neuro-Psychologist and assistant Psychologists.

What’s involved
Assess each resident’s physical, psychological and social needs and develop up a care plan taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and background of the people we care for and involve the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team. Continuously evaluate care needs with other members of the nursing team and ensure that care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate. Continually seek to improve the care delivered. Provide daily visits to assess individual needs and assist service users to maximise their comfort, dignity and independence and create the right environment which supports their physical and mental well-being.
- Assessing Care Needs: Evaluate each resident\’s physical, psychological, and social needs and create individualized care plans, ensuring the involvement of the resident, their family, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Providing High-Quality Care: Deliver day-to-day care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being, helping residents to live their best lives.
- Leading a Multidisciplinary Team: Supervise and support the care team, guiding and mentoring staff. You will lead shifts, organize and coordinate staff duties, and assist with staff training and development.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Continually assess care needs and evaluate the care provided. Ensure care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate, striving for the highest standards in everything you do.
- Promoting Independence and Well-being: Work with residents to support rehabilitation, stimulation, and social integration, with the goal of maintaining or improving independence and enhancing the quality of life.
- Ensuring a Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for both residents and staff, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Supporting Staff Development: Orient new staff, provide regular supervision, and support career progression through training and personal development opportunities.
