In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Business Partner the Business Development team with costing new and existing schemes / fee packages
- Document, standardise and automate costing processes across multiple legal entities
- Utilise CareCubed software for pricing analysis and to evidence increase requirements
- Identify legacy fee issues and opportunities
- Business Partner the Credit Control function to support timely query resolution
- Provide support, coaching and development to a small team, supporting with uplift process and reporting
- Support annual uplift negotiations with funding authorities
- Ensure standardisation of revenue and uplift recognition and reporting across Regions
- Seek best revenue recognition & costings practice across Group to improve data integrity and to drive process standardisation
- Identify increased care requirement, contingency or PBS input and ensure funding agreement is sought and reflected in agreed fees
- Reconciliation of different revenue streams vs invoice value and cash received identifying issues and appropriate resolutions
- Align costings to approved Business Cases, identify risks/opportunities and any variances that will impact profitability
- Identify opportunities to improve P&L performance
Requirements for this role:
- Accountancy qualification – studying towards or qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset
- Proven history of implementing and improving systems/processes
- Excellent communicator with the ability to succinctly summarise financial information in an easy-to-understand manner for various stakeholders
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross functionally with both finance and non-finance.
