The predicted salary is between 26 - 27 £ per hour.

Location: The Oak, Halstead, CO9 1LR

Hours: Full-time days and part-time days available – 42 or 36 or 24 hours per week 8am - 8pm (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)

Pay: £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)

About the Service

The Oak is a 7-bed residential service supporting a mix of adult females and males with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals. People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including bowling, cinema, going to the zoo and arts and crafts helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health needs to live life their way. You’ll:

  • Support independence and personal goals
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
  • Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
