Main duties of the job:
- Overseeing the implementation of Strive across our services - our positive support model.
- Supervising and supporting our PBS Practitioners.
- Collaborating with the Regional Leadership Team to improve the experience of the people we support and our colleagues.
- Delivering Active Support and PBS training and monitoring the outcome and impact of this.
- Providing high quality best practice approaches to support the achievement of person centred goals for the people we support.
- Working with services to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team with excellent communication skills.

Job details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Qualifications: Masters degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support, BCBA or UKBA(cert), Registration with UK‑SBA (or willingness to register).
- Experience: At least 1 years experience working in social care, skilled in developing Positive Behaviour Support plans and interventions to increase skills and reduce behaviours of concern, familiarity with working with multi‑disciplinary teams and balancing the differing views of stakeholders.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
