The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
As an Activities Care Assistant, you would be in charge of designing, planning and organising activities to meet residents' physical, social and emotional needs. You will be tasked with arranging a variety of activities such as the cinema, shopping days, pet therapy, sports events or concerts, arts & crafts and lots more.
You make people feel good, being there for them when life gets tough, and you do it with a smile on your face. We take time to get to know people irrespective of ability or disability; we aim to empower individuals to be as involved as they can be in control of their life. You will support people with diverse needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. You will support people to flourish in a place they call home. We support people to be ambitious and live a filled life.
Essential- Good general education
- Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
- Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
- Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
- A commitment to undertake training and development
- RQF Level 2 or above in social care
- Previous experience within social care setting
- Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
- Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
- Confident IT user
