Job Opportunity:

We are looking to expand our team by offering a part time administrative role, the candidate will have experience in an office setting and will be assisting our Managing Director with day to day admin tasks. Responsibilities will include generating reports, maintaining company records, liaising with customers/suppliers and supporting invoice management as well as associated documentation. We\'re looking for someone organised and confident, who can take ownership of their work and contribute effectively within a small team.

Duties will include:

Reporting and documentation:

  • Generate reports for meeting agendas, discussion notes and post meeting documentation for record keeping.
  • Assist in maintaining business documentation which includes H&S records, risk assessments and procedures.

Administrative Support:

  • Update internal and external customer records.
  • Handling general enquiries both in person and over the phone, redirecting calls as required.
  • Supporting colleagues on the shop floor with any paperwork required, printing of labels and orders required.

Diary and Calendar Management:

  • Schedule meetings for management and departments whilst liaising with managers and/or customers.

Invoicing and Account support:

  • Assist with invoicing, maintaining and updating invoice records as well as associated documentation.

Ordering and Supplier Communication:

  • Support and liaise with the the whole team to monitor and order office necessities, stock, materials and packaging/pallets.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written, verbal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office based role is essential
  • Experience with Xero, or any other accounting software, is preferrable but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Experience with invoicing or basic account processes is preferable
  • Proof of qualifications

  • Hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am - 4pm
  • Starting wage is £13.50 per hour
