Iveshead School is looking for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is central to the daily operations of our school, providing high-quality, confidential administrative support to staff, students, and the wider community.

The Role

  • Front-of-House: Covering the reception desk, managing the school switchboard, and triaging daily enquiries from parents and visitors with a high level of customer service.
  • Core Administration: Managing school documentation, letters, and reports, as well as handling incoming and outgoing post.
  • Data Management: Maintaining the MIS database (Bromcom), ensuring data collection records are accurate, and producing reports for school management.
  • School Operations: Assisting with the organisation of school trips, enrichment activities, parents' evenings, and transition events for new students.
  • Financial Support: Raising purchase orders, reconciling payments via the parent payment package, and managing queries regarding school transport.
  • Student Support: Supporting the school’s First Aid provision and assisting with specialist provision paperwork, such as SEND annual reviews.

About You

We are looking for a trustworthy and discrete individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent).
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Google Packages or Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of young people.
