Estates Manager – Northampton (Hybrid) – Up to £45,000 p.a. + benefits

We are looking for an experienced Estates/Facilities Manager to join a dedicated team, working closely with a multi‑site organisation. The role combines autonomy with breadth, overseeing site teams and delivering the estate management strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Estates in delivering the estate management strategy across all sites.
  • Implement new initiatives and support the delivery of projects.
  • Line‑manage site supervisors/supervisory teams and coordinate site projects.
  • Maintain regular liaison with contractors and manage ongoing project updates.
  • Make decisions on Health & Safety, perform spot checks, risk assessments, and produce accident management and investigation reports.
  • Support operational delivery of catering, waste disposal/recycling, energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience managing site teams.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Experience carrying out Health & Safety checks and maintaining records.
  • Knowledge of fire safety legislation.
  • Strong IT and spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience working within a multi‑site environment.
  • Valid full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for site travel.
