Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Our dynamic college is looking for a teaching assistant dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs as they develop the skills they require for future life.

The post is permanent working 32.5 hours weekly from 8.45am to 3.45pm during term time only. Part-time requests will be considered for a reduced number of days, however the working hours are fixed. You will be provided with a full induction programme to give you the training you need to succeed. You are not required to have any specific Teaching Assistant qualification or school-based experience, just a great attitude!

Ivel Valley is a special needs school and college in Biggleswade, providing education for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Our students access our post-16 college for three years and leave at the end of Year 14 having been prepared for adulthood and their next steps in that journey. If you are enthusiastic about helping young people gain knowledge and independence, including accessing the local community then this role is for you.
