Ivel Valley is a special needs school and college in Biggleswade, providing education for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Our school site on Hitchmead Road supports pupils from Early Years to Key Stage 4 with the majority of students continuing on to post-16 education at our College site at The Baulk, Biggleswade.
The posts are permanent working 32.5 hours weekly from 8.45am to 3.45pm during term time only. Part-time requests will be considered for a reduced number of days, however the working hours are fixed. You will be provided with a full induction programme to give you the training you need to succeed. You are not required to have any specific Teaching Assistant qualification or school-based experience, just a great attitude!
