This involves establishing a stewardship programme to foster closer relationships with funded researchers and the broader research community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researcher Engagement and Stewardship: Develop and implement a grant-holder engagement and stewardship programme. Coordinate grant holder visits across the UK, ensuring involvement from key teams. Gather insights from discussions with funded researchers and communicate to the research team. Attend meetings and conferences to engage with the research community and share funding information. Build understanding and reach within research fields not currently funded. Engage with research networks and key university staff to promote research funding opportunities. Support the HCP Engagement Team in developing clinical research journeys.
  • Research Information, Insight, and Impact: Maintain an updated resource base on the research portfolio for internal teams. Support fundraising events by coordinating with researchers and showcasing opportunities. Assist in developing reporting and impact monitoring processes. Disseminate updates on research developments and grant impacts to other teams for outreach.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • Knowledge: Understanding of the medical research charity sector and an interest in blood cancer research.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn. Proficient in MS Office, with strong organisational skills.
  • Experience: Administrative experience with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to continuous improvement and process efficiency. Experience with CRM systems is beneficial, but not essential.

We are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusivity. We encourage applications from underrepresented groups, including minority communities and individuals with disabilities, to better represent the communities we serve.
