Using proprietary data and AI/ML matching, we make shopping secondhand seamless.
As a Founding Full Stack Developer, you will work alongside the CEO and cross-functional team to define and implement the technology vision and strategy. You'll own full-stack delivery, combining powerful backend data handling with beautiful customer experiences. This is a hands-on role with a path to Head of Tech and meaningful equity.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive data-led innovation with AI/ML, including recommendation systems and personalisation features
- Collaborate with business leaders, non-tech stakeholders, and investors to align tech direction with company strategy
- Balance hands-on coding with technical leadership and mentoring
- Own customer experience across web, mobile and backend integrations
- Strong back-end focus with full-stack engineering experience
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and startup grit
- Data-obsessed with proven experience in AI/ML or strong interest in applied machine learning
- Confident communicator and collaborator across technical and non-technical teams
- Pragmatic in build vs. buy decisions
- Passionate about sustainability, marketplaces, and doing meaningful work
- AWS and GCP (BigQuery, Looker)
- Data science and ML experience a plus
- Experience with marketplaces, ecommerce, or apparel
- Experience building matching engines or recommendation systems
- CS or Mathematics degree
