We are looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join a fast-growing e-commerce company, working remotely. You will lead the financial management of Gross Margin, develop financial models, and provide strategic financial insights, partnering closely with Marketing and Commercial teams.
What you’ll do:
- Own the financial performance of Gross Margin, working with VPs of Marketing and Commercial.
- Develop financial scenarios and models for new business initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and contribute to the 3-year strategic financial plan.
- Deliver clear financial reporting and analysis to trading and performance marketing teams.
- Communicate complex financial insights to stakeholders, tailoring your approach as needed.
- Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure strategic financial execution.
- Manage the creation of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Support the Junior Financial Controller with month-end processes.
- Serve as a key finance business partner for Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Work with Data and Product teams to drive site improvements and optimize performance.
Your superpowers:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant experience in finance.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, particularly in financial modeling.
- Experience with BI tools (GA4, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in 3-way financial modeling (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P&L).
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data.
- Commercially aware, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
