A market-leading planning consultancy is searching for a professional HR Manager to join its team in Bristol. As the business embraces flexibility, you will be able to work from home 1–2 days per week.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for developing and implementing the people strategy and vision for the organisation. You will lead on employee relations and recruitment processes, and manage one direct report—making prior line management experience essential. Your remit will also include reward and recognition, policy and compliance, appraisals, performance management, and championing diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of the company’s HR strategy
  • Oversee recruitment and employee onboarding
  • Manage and advise on employee relations issues
  • Support policy development and compliance, including diversity and inclusion
  • Administer performance review and appraisal processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in HR practices
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager within a professional services environment
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on to support leadership
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated capability in line management
  • CIPD qualification is advantageous
