About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled intern to join our UK Logistics Team. The selected candidate will support the development of a new Logistics Operations Portal, a digital platform aimed at improving visibility, tracking, and reporting of our logistics performance and KPIs.

The candidate will lead the conception, design, and deployment of a digital portal to streamline logistics operations, enhance data visibility, and improve decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and business intelligence tools, especially Power BI, and be able to work independently on the technical development of dashboards and reports. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic logistics environment while contributing to a high-impact digital transformation project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Logistics Operations Portal using Power BI
  • Design interactive dashboards, visualisations, and automated reports
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g. Excel, SQL, ERP systems)
  • Write and optimise DAX queries and use Power Query/M language
  • Collaborate with logistics manager to identify key metrics and performance indicators
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for reporting purposes
  • Document processes and support knowledge transfer within the team

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
  • Solid experience with Power BI at a professional level
  • Strong knowledge of DAX(Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query (M language), and data modelling
  • Understanding of logistics or supply chain operations is a plus
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
