How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you. The role is split between our Rosewood and Blackheath sites. There's a well-balanced caseload of medicine and surgery on offer, but we can tailor the role to your own interests, where possible. You’ll be supported by the wider team, but there will still be periods of sole charge required in this role.

Whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, we can find the right solution for you. Typically, the full-time position would involve working 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with an amazing 1:8 Saturdays (09:00 – 17:00). There’s no out of hours or on call required for this role.
About Us
This purpose-built practice provides a spacious, light and airy perfect working environment with a surgical theatre, and a prep room, and all the usual gadgets including digital Xray, ultrasound, endoscope and in house lab. We are in the process of installing a dental xray in addition. Our clinical team is composed of 12 vets with certificate holders in areas like exotics, internal medicine and surgery. We also have vets doing certificates in dermatology, imaging and surgery. They’re supported by our highly skilled, long standing nurse team. We have a loyal client base, and the practice is highly trusted within the local community for providing exceptional veterinary care. Maintaining a good working environment and job satisfaction for all staff is of high importance to us which is proven in our low staff turnover and longevity in service.
