Our friendly team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs, and experienced Receptionists across the group. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction. You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. This is a part time role working 32 hours per week as well as participating in a Saturday rota.
Key responsibilities
- Managing appointment bookings and diary coordination
- Take payments and process transactions
- Dispense medication as required
- Support with general administrative duties
- Manage account queries and chase outstanding payments
- Complete end-of-day banking procedures
- Monitor and maintain petty cash records
