We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Kingswood Vets on a full-time or part-time basis.

Kingswood Vets is a modern, purpose-built veterinary hospital in Woking, offering an excellent environment to develop your nursing career. Opened in 2018, the practice features four consulting rooms, two theatres, dedicated dental and imaging suites, separate dog and cat wards and advanced equipment, including digital dental radiography, multiparameter monitors, syringe drivers and hot-air warming devices.

We are happy to consider newly qualified RVNs who can demonstrate a strong foundation of clinical skills, with plenty of support available from our experienced and encouraging team.

You'll be joining a welcoming team of Veterinary Surgeons, three RVNs, two Student Veterinary Nurses and a fantastic support team, all led by a supportive Clinical Director who is passionate about helping colleagues thrive. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week, although part-time applicants will also be considered
  • Shifts of either 8:30am-4:30pm or 10:30am-7:00pm
  • 1 in 6 Saturday rota, working 8:00am-2:00pm

General Responsibilities

  • Inpatient care
  • Assisting Veterinary Surgeons
  • Nurse consultations
  • Triage alongside a Veterinary Surgeon at the branch surgery

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
  • A proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement
