As part of a larger veterinary group, Rowe Veterinary Group is seeking a Branch Manager on a 12-month FTC to lead the operational and administrative functions of our busy veterinary practice in Yate & small Cat Clinic, just outside Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive manager who enjoys working within a large clinical team and supporting both people and processes to deliver outstanding patient and client care.
Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Head Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, leading the non-clinical team and helping to create a positive and efficient workplace for colleagues and clients alike.
How You'll Make a DifferenceAs Practice Manager, you will lead the non‐clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day running, strong team performance, and an outstanding client experience. You'll be responsible for operational delivery, people management, and compliance, while supporting the practice to achieve its performance, quality, and service objectives. This role plays a key part in creating a positive culture and enabling clinical teams to deliver excellent care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day administration and operational management of the practice
- Lead and support the reception and administrative teams
- Manage staff rotas, annual leave planning and workforce scheduling to ensure appropriate practice coverage
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, onboarding and induction of new team members
- Support employee engagement, performance management and staff development initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and Head Nurse to deliver practice objectives and maintain high standards of service
- Monitor key performance indicators and support the achievement of business goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements
- Handle client feedback and support with complaints
Working 40hrs a week over 4 or 5 days, will also consider part time.
