Join Scotland’s Only Specialist Dental and Oromaxillofacial Referral Centre. DentalVets is excited to welcome a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist™ or a Veterinarian who has completed an AVDC/EVDC Residency to our expanding team. This is a rare opportunity to become part of the only specialist veterinary dental referral centre in Scotland, based in beautiful East Lothian.

We are a close-knit, friendly team of 12, including a specialist anaesthetist, specialist veterinary dentist, board-eligible veterinary dentist, a dual certificate holder in dentistry and surgery, and a nurse currently undertaking the AVDT VTS (dentistry) programme. Collaboration, mentorship, and mutual support are at the heart of our work culture.

We are open to both Full Time and Part Time applicants.

About the Role

As part of our team, you’ll be involved in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of oral and dental conditions in dogs and cats. Your caseload will include:

  • Advanced dentistry and endodontic procedures
  • Oral and maxillofacial surgeries
  • Providing expert clinical advice to clients and referring vets
  • Contributing to teaching and knowledge-sharing through our CPD courses

We are looking for a passionate clinician who enjoys all aspects of dentistry and oral surgery, values teamwork, and takes pride in building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
