We are looking for a new Client Care Advisor to join our Lime Trees team, working at both of our practices: our purpose‐built Small Animal Hospital in Meir Park, and our dedicated Cat Only Clinic in Cheadle.
How You'll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction. You would be working alongside a friendly team who are passionate about making a difference to the health and wellbeing of all pets.
General responsibilities include:
- Greeting all clients in a friendly and professional way.
- Organisation of the clinical diary for routine, surgical and emergency appointments.
- Answering telephone inquiries from clients in a welcoming and calm manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, informing and educating clients sympathetically.
- Convert inquiries into appointments to maintain pet healthcare.
- Handle and update client data and records.
- Assist clients in handing pet insurance claims.
- Record relevant information in the practice system to support the clinical team.
- Ensure accuracy of invoices and collect payments on the day of treatment.
- Provide education to clients on basic animal care.
The role is full time (40 hours per week) with a flexible working pattern covering our business hours of 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday shifts between the hours of 7:45am – 1:30pm. The contract is for 12‐month as maternity cover. There is a requirement for the team to be flexible in their working hours as we all work together to ensure the core business hours are always covered, allowing for sickness and holidays.
