We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Rowe Cat Clinic on a full-time basis. Rowe Cat Clinic is a feline-exclusive practice dedicated to delivering exceptional, stress-free care for cats and peace of mind for their owners. Our team is passionate about advanced feline medicine and patient welfare, and we pride ourselves on creating a calm, professional environment tailored specifically to our feline patients. Our facilities include dental radiography, ultrasound, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, and separate feline wards, allowing us to provide high-quality, species-specific care. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, where you will play a key role in both clinical and client-facing aspects of the practice. You will work closely with experienced veterinary surgeons, including an Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine, gaining exposure to complex and interesting cases within a feline-only environment.
General responsibilities include:
- Deliver high standards of nursing care to hospitalised feline patients, including monitoring and health checks
- Support surgical procedures, including preparation, anaesthesia monitoring, and assisting in theatre
- Run nurse-led clinics such as weight management, senior cat checks, dental care, and chronic condition monitoring
- Perform diagnostic and laboratory work, including blood sampling, imaging, and in-house lab management
