We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Prep Room and Surgical Kits Assistant to join our team at Sutterton Veterinary Hospital, South Lincs Vets, on a full time basis working 35hrs per week. Nestled between Spalding and Boston in the picturesque Lincolnshire countryside, our location provides a peaceful backdrop for your career. As an RCVS-accredited hospital, we take pride in being fully equipped, offering all the resources you need to thrive.
South Lincs Vet Group consists of the main hospital and 4 branch locations. Our team is strong and dedicated, with 17 vets, including certificate holders in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, ECC, and Medicine. Supporting them is a fantastic team of 50+ RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, ACAs, reception, and admin staff, all working seamlessly together to deliver outstanding care.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Prep Room & Surgical Kits Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely. Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll be based in our theatre service supporting with cleaning, packing and autoclaving equipment, laundry for inpatients, and ensuring all equipment is ready for theatre, contributing to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients. You'll also support with general housekeeping and supporting the nursing teams as needed.

- 1 in 4 Saturdays
