We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Lawrence Vets on a part-time basis. Lawrence Vets is a long-established practice located on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border, with excellent access to the surrounding countryside and local communities. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient and client care while continually striving to enhance and develop our clinical standards.
Our Eastwood practice underwent an extensive refurbishment three years ago and now includes a dedicated cat-only clinic alongside our main surgery. Facilities include a dental suite, imaging suite, separate isolation facilities and a dedicated laboratory room. We are also proud to have certificate holders in cardiology and feline medicine, supported by a highly experienced clinical team.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
- Part‑time role working every Tuesday and Wednesday
- Shift patterns vary and are worked on a rota basis
- Participation in the weekend rota is required
- Current weekend commitment is 1 in 6 Saturday mornings, working 8:30am–1:00pm
