Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership is a friendly group of five practices based in Norwich. Our Equine Clinic in Brooke was purpose-built and opened in 2012, offering high-quality, advanced care to horses, ponies, and donkeys across Norfolk and Suffolk. We have a compassionate and supportive team of 24 vets and 26 nurses across the group, with specialists in ophthalmology, dermatology, and equine internal medicine. Our facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, gastroscope, lameness locator, endoscope, dental kits, surgical theatre, surgical laser, small animal dental x-rays, internal laboratories at each branch, and new imaging technology. There is scope for those interested in mixed practice.
The role is 40 hours per week, usually four 10-hour days between Monday and Friday, with an on-call rota for out-of-hours and weekend equine care. You will be supported within the Equine team, working under the guidance of our Lead Equine Vet on a day-to-day basis. A large team of small animal vets with varying levels of experience provides additional guidance. You’ll also have access to a supportive network including three practice managers and dedicated support teams in each branch.
