We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Diagnostic Imaging to join our team at Abington Park Vet Referrals. This is a consult only role (no first opinion surgery) and you must be able to work at a referral level in ultrasonography.
We provide services including Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Orthopaedic & Soft Tissue Surgery. Practice facilities and equipment include visiting MRI, on-site CT, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and dental room, theatre, comprehensive on-site laboratory with a lab technician, fluoroscopy room, endoscope (rigid & flex), arthroscopy tower, ultrasound machine and so much more.

How You’ll Make a DifferenceYou will deliver advanced veterinary care within a referral setting, managing complex cases and providing clinical advice and support to referring veterinary practices. You’ll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team to deliver outstanding patient and client care, while also supporting the development of colleagues through mentoring, supervision, and knowledge sharing. You’ll contribute positively to the efficient running of your service and play an active role in maintaining high clinical standards and continuous improvement.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...- A Veterinary degree with RCVS registration
- Further certification in Diagnostic Imaging
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with referring vets, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising colleagues
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement
