We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Biscott Mill Vet Centre on a full-time basis. Biscott Mill Vet Centre is a busy small animal town practice, with a progressive attitude that takes pride in the high standards of care that we provide. We are situated in Luton with transport links to London, Bedford and Luton Airport. We are fully equipped with a laboratory suite, sterile theatre, radiography, dental x-ray, along with a bright and airy reception area and 3 consulting rooms. We are a small but very experienced team consisting of our Practice Director, 3 Veterinary Surgeons, and our nursing and reception teams. Our team are dedicated to delivering the best possible veterinary care and service to patients and clients.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. Our Nurses work closely with our Vets and Support staff to ensure the best possible care is provided. Our Nurses are well respected and fully supported, so extra training can be given to someone looking to return to nursing or just starting their nursing career. You will be encouraged to pursue special interests and CPD. We are a Training Practice, so we encourage and support Nurses to be involved in Nurse training. We pride ourselves in encouraging Nurses to complete schedule 3 procedures.
Working Pattern
40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm 1:3 Saturday mornings
General Responsibilities
