We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and highly motivated Yard Technician to join our busy equine veterinary hospital team. This is a hands-on role caring for a wide variety of hospitalised horses and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the yard. Our patients range from foals and youngstock to stallions, racehorses, competition horses and pleasure horses. Applicants must therefore be confident and competent handling horses of all sizes, temperaments and disciplines.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Feeding and watering horses
  • Attending to individual patient husbandry requirements
  • Mucking out and maintaining clean, tidy stables and yard area
  • Pasture management
  • Handling and moving horses around the hospital
  • Supporting the veterinary and nursing teams in maintaining high standards of equine care

This is a part-time permanent role working 24 hours per week Tuesday-Saturday between 12:30pm-18:30pm.
