We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Cliffe Vets on a full‑time basis. Our team of 32 dedicated professionals includes veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, student veterinary nurses, and members of our client care team. We work closely together to provide high‑quality, compassionate care to our patients and support to their owners, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment across our branches. Our practice is made up of one main site and two branch surgeries. Each branch is fully equipped for routine operations and offers nurse‑led consultations, ensuring consistent, high‑quality care across all locations. Diagnostic imaging is available at our main site, supporting a wide range of clinical services.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week
  • 4 x 10‑hour days or 5 x 8‑hour days, Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 6 weekends, with TOIL given the following week

General Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinary surgeons with operations, diagnostics, and clinical procedures
  • Work collaboratively across clinical and front‑of‑house functions to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice
  • Conduct nurse consultations, providing patient care, advice, and follow‑up support to clients
  • Manage and dispense medications in accordance with practice protocols
