This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Farm Vet to join a team dedicated to delivering excellent care to our diverse client base of dairy, beef and sheep farms. With surgeries in Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale, we pride ourselves on blending traditional values with a forward-thinking approach to herd health and farm consultancy. Accommodation and practice vehicle are available.

The Area: We have one practice on the edge of the Lakes and one in the Dales – both beautiful areas and only 13 minutes apart. You would be required to work at both sites depending on cases, but are flexible regarding where you start your day. The area boasts plenty of walking, great for outdoor living and adventure, plus beautiful scenery with good transport links.

The Rota: 1 in 4 weekends on call, plus 1 weeknight on rota on call from 5:30 pm – 8 am. Full or part-time hours are considered for the right candidate.

The Team: You will join a team of four farm vets, a mixed practice with separate farm and small animal teams, meaning you gain the benefit of nurses who are always happy to help, especially during calving or a demanding surgery.
