We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Hook Vets on a Part-time basis. Based in the lovely village of Hook, our RCVS-accredited practice offers the perfect balance of countryside charm, with excellent transport links to London and the South Coast. At Hook Veterinary Centre, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient and client care within a supportive, friendly and professional environment.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week, although we're happy to consider candidates looking for between 20 and 30 hours. The role also includes working 1 in 4 Saturdays, finishing at 1:00pm. This is a hands-on nursing role covering all aspects of practice life, including:
- Theatre nursing
- Inpatient care
- Nurse consultations
- Laboratory work
- Supporting our clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
