We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Links Vets on a part-time, 6-month fixed-term contract. Links Vets is a well-established veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and outstanding service to their owners. You’ll join a supportive team where compassionate care, professionalism and a positive client experience are at the heart of what we do.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, playing an important role in making sure every interaction is welcoming, professional and compassionate. You’ll help keep the practice running smoothly by managing appointments, responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate client records and working closely with our clinical and support teams. From welcoming clients into the practice to supporting them over the phone, you’ll help create a positive experience throughout their journey with us.

Working Pattern

  • Part-time, 30 hours per week
  • 8-hour shifts across operating hours between 8:00am and 11:00pm
  • 1 in 12 weekends
  • 6-month fixed-term contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients and providing a friendly and professional first point of contact
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the practice diary
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Processing payments and supporting clients with billing enquiries
  • Supporting general administrative duties and the day-to-day running of the practice
  • Working closely with the veterinary and wider practice team to support clients and patients
