We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Aniwell Veterinary Clinic - St Mary's on a full-time basis. St Mary’s is now part of our wider Kinson and Alderney practice group, with the same experienced Practice Director overseeing all three sites. Aniwell is a first-opinion small animal practice with branches in Bournemouth and Poole. We’re conveniently located near town centres, beautiful beaches, and the New Forest, with excellent transport links. Our clinics are fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab machines, therapeutic laser, and dental radiography, and we’re proud to be a Silver Cat Friendly Clinic. Our Poole branch also houses our full endoscopy suite, including rigid and flexible scopes.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week however we are open to part-time applications
  • 5 days a week with a mix of early and late shifts varying from 8:15am - 7:00pm
  • 1:3 Saturday mornings 8:30am - 12:45pm
  • No out-of-hours or bank holiday requirement

General Responsibilities

  • Assisting Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and consultations
  • Responsibility for inpatient care
  • Monitoring anaesthetics
  • Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
  • Carrying out nurse consultations
