We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Inglis on a full-time/part-time basis. We are a Veterinary Group with branch surgeries around Fife, Kinross and Edinburgh, with our main hospital based in Dunfermline, Fife. We have a great team and provide the highest level of veterinary services to clients and their pets.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with no weekend working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to client inquiries
  • Assisting clients at the front desk and offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Making appointments and managing bookings
  • Producing invoices and processing payments
  • Handling cash and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions
  • Going the extra mile to ensure clients feel valued and well cared for
  • Using your initiative to provide efficient and effective solutions to clients' needs
